At Paint Pot Prodigals, every piece begins with a story — and is reimagined with pets and their people in mind.
What started as a love for rescuing forgotten furniture has grown into a boutique brand devoted to creating beautiful, functional furniture for dogs and cats that complements the home, not competes with it. I design for pet parents who want to pamper their pets without sacrificing style, quality, or warmth in their living spaces.

From Passion Project to Purposeful Living
Paint Pot Prodigals started with a simple question: “What if old furniture could be beautiful again?”
With a love for color and vintage pieces, I began painting furniture for fun — a pet bed here, a child’s chair there. Requests from friends soon turned my garage into a studio and my weekends into commissions.
Today, Paint Pot Prodigals is my full-time passion, blending sustainability, creativity, and community to bring joy and purpose back into every home.
Why the Name “Paint Pot Prodigals”?
The word prodigal is often associated with return, restoration, and being welcomed home with purpose.
At Paint Pot Prodigals, that meaning guides every piece I create.
Many of the furnishings I work with were once overlooked or no longer useful. Through careful restoration and thoughtful design, they are given new life as beautiful furniture for pets and homes.
The heart behind the name is simple:
something once set aside can become something deeply valued again.
Each piece is renewed with intention, craftsmanship, and creativity — then sent out to be loved in a new home, by both pets and the people who cherish them.
